Options to reduce the impact of hydrological extremes.
Bačinová, Hana ; Kovář, Pavel (advisor)
The main aim is to assess the extremity of the event and its spatial variability within the area of interest of the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is anticipated quantitative and qualitative analysis based on a detailed assessment of the current state of the landscape in terms of protection against hydrological extremes and analyzing ongoing processes of water regime in different conditions. The result should be an evaluation of factors influencing the situation in the region and its water component, which will then be subjected to optimization, focusing on the possibility of increasing the accumulation and retention of water in the landscape, such as limiting the impact on the creation of a catastrophic flood flows. One of the investigating of the quantification of factors affecting extreme runoff events (floods and droughts), analysis of the effectiveness of biotechnical measures in watersheds (erosion control and flood the effects of existing measures such as biotechnical measures), the possibility of such measures in the landscape and their impact on the effectiveness of capacity-building and accumulation of water in the landscape.
Relation between basin and runoff characteristics
Svoboda, Marek ; Hanel, Martin (advisor) ; Vlnas, Radek (referee)
Bachelor thesis describes the hydrological modeling, hydrological models and model Bilan in a literary review. Subsequent practical part deals with the characteristics of processing datsets basin in a programming environment R. The introduction defines the notion basin and put foreword to the hydrological modeling. The aim is to describe the hydrological modeling and datasets basin to try to determine whether there is a dependence of parameters on the percentage of overlap basin. The literature review describes the concepts related to hydrological modeling, such as hydrological balance, or what is a hydrological model. Subsequently hydrological models describe according to various divisions. Specifically, there is described a model Bilan. In the practical part solves the dependence of the parameters on the size of the catchment overlap. These analyzes are used in the programming environment R.
Curve Numbers in Models and Programs Using to Project Landscaping
ZELNÍČKOVÁ, Hana
The whole work is about runoff curve numbers. This method was developed by Soil Conservation Service. This method may be used in projections of land consolidations. The runoff curve number procedure uses certain climatic data and the characteristics of a watershed to convert rainfall data to runoff volume. It may be used in projections of precaution against erosion. There are a lot of programs based on runoff curve number procedure so this work choose only some of them. There are WBCM and KINFIL models and programs like DesQ-MaxQ, HydroCAD and HEC-HMS.
Event rainfall-runoff models overview.
PŘESLIČKA, Jiří
My thesis deals with the topic of mathematical hydrologic models. Its goal is to explain the main principles, according to which the models work, classify them from individual viewpoints and elaborate an overview and description of event models. The description also contains options for utilizing the individual models. This helps when selecting a suitable model to use for hydrologic process modelling.
